“Light dawns, and any talks of proof
resembles a blind man’s cane at sunrise.
Remember the passage,
We are with you wherever you are.
Come back to that.
When did we ever leave it?
No matter we’re in a prison of forgetting
or enjoying the banquet of wisdom,
we are always inside presence.
Drunkenly asleep, tenderly awake,
clouded with grief, laughing like lightning,
angry at war, quiet with gratitude, we are
nothing
in this many-mooded world of weather
but a single brushstroke down,
speaking of presence.” -Rumi

Look! I found another video of my beautiful Mama! This is one of my favourite songs that she wrote, and one of the first songs she ever taught me to play on the guitar when I was little, awwww… Blessings Amigos

WOW! Check out this 1978 lost footage (until now!) my beautiful Mama singer/songwriter Carolina Edwards! I’m overjoyed! These are songs that grew up with and now I perform (when I gig with my Papa, Jonathan Edwards) so getting to see her original artistic expression moves me beyond words! These are my roots y'all! :-) la Madre Ultima! Enjoy friends!
This was our first time out on the road performing with our newest USA Victory Rider band mate, Wayne Perry (a.k.a. Mister Trombone). What a treat it’s been to play with him and hear how the music moves him and all that soulful playing he brings seems to fit so naturally… Not only have we found an amazing musical talent, but we’ve also found a kindred spirit friend. Welcome to the tribe Wayne!
Warming up at the old Hawthorn Barn in Provincetown Cape Cod MA for our concert opening the first 20 summers art center festival. Put together by a gathering of beautiful people, friends & family, this historic barn has real art & wild stories soaked in every beam. I fell in love with this place it’s panoramic ocean views, a vegetable garden overlooking the local fox cubs playing in the dunes along with fearless sunbathing rabbits have me hooked. Our concert was filmed so we’ll be able to share that soon.
Happy new year! Thank you sooooooo much for your understanding in waiting for your pledged artwork and music. It’s been almost a year and you’ve all been more than patient. I have almost everything ready to be shipped out now, so please do make sure your current address is the one on your order.
As I’ve been doing everything myself, it’s taken a really long time, and this is my first time being in the production line :-). I don’t want to give a list of excuses but besides touring, a lot of things happened, I’ve been separating from my French record company for over eight months now and I’m still waiting for them to give me back my freedom. On top of that I’ve had to move three times this past year, all of which has really slowed down the process of you getting your stuff.
As for the cd’s it’s completely out of my hands, (I’ve been trying for over a year to get my rights back from the record label meanwhile I still can’t get any cd’s from them to give to you). However I promise that as soon as I get them back I’ll be manufacturing them myself to get them to you.
Jerome and I are working on the acoustic pledge album and hope to have it out to you early this year. Despite some challenges, working on getting these things to you, and making this new music has been such a joy and I’m so very grateful to you… Thanks again for your faithful understanding. Many blessings to you in this new year!
Grace
Hola Amigos,
I wanted to share with you the very important news that I’ve discovered the joy of guitar painting. :-)
Much love,
Grace (working on the pledge)
Rehearsing and playing all afternoon the cabin beach, and then we were invited to a beautiful Céilidh which is a celtic musical gathering to share our songs with the warm Cape Breton community.
Here in Nova Scotia is where my story begins, coming back here and singing songs with my Papa has flooded my senses with some of my most treasured memories, the smell of pine needles through the ocean breeze, waking up to breakfast cooking on the campfire, and following my brother’s laughter down to the sea to wash dishes and explore the coast line caves…
This is the beautiful farm where I was born in Pictou county, Nova Scotia, Canada. Meeting the kindred spirits Tina & Jim who live there now was fully cosmic! It seems that all the intentions and dreams that my folks put into this farm way back when, are now being fulfilled and lived to even higher heights by our new friends Tina and Jim. I couldn’t have imagined such a sweet coming home. Thank you Tina and Jim for this magical dream come true!
What an adventure it’s been touring this summer with my Papa, folk singer songwriter Jonathan Edwards, from island hopping on the east coast to stumbling into a magical full moon gatherings and candle lit cabins in the woods, I’m so grateful to have this precious time with my Papa!
